Note: When I get older, I am getting a pig.

This will be my first vegan festival(:
I know this isn’t until two months from now, but I shall write about it anyway. (This is sort of like my post-it note to myself)
The DC VegFest is a FREE outdoor festival celebrating the very best of everything vegetarian in and around the nation’s capital. With dozens of food, commercial, and non-profit exhibitors, as well as several dynamic speakers and cooking demos, a kids’ area, and more, this annual event has something for everyone to enjoy!
The 2012 DC VegFest will be held on Saturday, Sept. 22 from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Yards Park (10 Water St., SE) in Washington, DC. The event is open to everyone, and we encourage you to bring your friends, family, and even four-legged companions.
The DC VegFest is organized and hosted by Compassion Over Killing and the Vegetarian Society of DC.
So they’re supposedly supposed to have the first Vegan Egg Yolk at the DC VegFest. Cool, I suppose. A vegan egg. Does that mean that there is a vegan chicken? What is that?
This is the nation’s capitol’s biggest vegetarian event. Pretty cool. And I’m going to be apart of it. I’ll have to take pictures. And post them. (I’m pretty horrible with the latter). Did you know that Washington, DC was recently named “Top Vegetarian US City” by Living Social? Neither did I.
Volunteer? Perhaps I will. Too late, I just did (if you’d like to join me, click here)
Have any questions or want to join me? Go here and/or leave me a message(:
I wonder if anyone’d notice if I was wearing leather at this place.
