Winter Woes: DIY Deep Conditioner

During the winter months, I become very lax with how I style and protect my hair. I try not to do too many wash n’ go’s because of the obvious (Its too cold! ain’t nobody got time fo’ dat lol). However, the winter months are a great time to experiment with Deep Conditioners because they tend to lock in moisture and fight against breakage.

With this DIY deep conditioner, you know exactly what products and chemicals you are putting on your hair, so you know they are free of chemicals such as sulfates and parabens, which are BAD!

Recipe = half of everything :

-Banana : Helps to soften hair and promotes elasticity, reduces split ends.

-Avocado : Contains vitamins B and E that promote healthy hair growth and repairs damaged hair.

-1/2 cup of organic cold pressed olive oil : Great for Dry hair caused by cold weather, coats…
