Yesterday you said tomorrow.

Lunch…and breakfast

Mum wanted me to go to JUMBO so that we could get some ingredients for our split pea soup recipe.

I took advantage of this venture to get some things for myself.  Two avocado, 2 more packages of baby bella mushrooms (I love my shrooms), 2 baby russet potatoes, 2 American okra, 1 American Yellow Yam..and I think that’s it.  I got plenty of things in two’s.  My bag was like the Noah’s Ark of vegetable and fungi.

I just created a delicious lunch.  Mm mm.  I steamed some of the green beans I just got (for the soup), boiled the potatoes, warmed up the kale, and chopped and sauteed a mushroom.  My lunch was as follows: 1 mushroom with 1 baby russet potato and chives and organic bac’uns bits, steamed green beans and kale with black pepper, turmeric, and garlic and onion powder, 5 veggie potstickers, and water.  Wonderful and only about 250 calories.

Next I have to exercise.  I don’t know what I’m going to do.  I could do Taebo Flex, ride the stationary bike, not go jogging, work the dumbbells, the list is endless. But I’m lazy.  No worries though, my deadline for the beginning of my exercise is 5:00pm.  By then I’ll be doing something and I’ll let you know what it was.

Oh, I forgot to inform you of my Breakfast.

Oats in a Jar w/

  • .25 cup fresh blueberries
  • .25 banana
  • .5 tbsp. agave nectar
  • .5 cup almond milk
  • .25 cup raw oats
  • 2 oz. raw almonds, chopped
  • sesame seeds
  • chia seeds
  • ground flaxseed
  • .5 – 1 cup grapes
  • about 8 oz. OJ
  • water

This summed up to be approximately 720 calories.  My snack before lunch at 3pm was homemade popcorn cooked in oil.  That amounted to approximately 150 calories. Oh, and I had the rest of my OJ = 100 calories. Total for the day: approximately 1,220 calories.
