Yesterday you said tomorrow.

One Week.

I did it!

Officially, it has been one week since I began my journey.  Setback:  I have gotten sick (no, I don’t think it is from over-exertion or, God forbid, eating too healthily).  I’m not sick like, stuffy nose, in bed, actually I wish I was in bed.  My sickness stems from lack of sleep and stress (personal issues, not related to health journey).  Since the fourth, I’ve only been able to get 4 consecutive hours of relative unconsciousness.  This morning I was sitting in my room, and I heard birds begin to chirp.  First thing that came to mind, “oh crap, not this again.”

Note to readers: I have thought about it and while posting my meal plan and exercise plan every day might have been beneficial to you, I know it will not be doable throughout this entire process.  So, I want to let you know that I will not be logging my food and exercise every day via this blog. YES, I still log in my own personal journal, but I cannot continue to be on the computer so often.  But on the bright side, you got to see a week’s worth of attempted clean eating and exercising w/strength training + cardio.

I didn’t eat enough today, sadly, but when I did eat, I ate well. Very well.

Breakfast (At 1:00pm): Black Bean Barley-Oat Brownie Pancakes w/ 1 tbsp. honey, 1 cup of watermelon, and water.  {These pancakes were delicious and waaay better than my first attempt on Friday}

Snack #1 (At 7pm): .25 cup shelled peanuts and water

Supper (At 7pm): 1 Roasted Veggie & Black Bean Burrito w/.25 cup avocado and 2 tbsp. medium salsa, steamed green beans and broccoli

Whole green beans in a carton.

Snack #2 (At 9:30pm): 3 cups popcorn, watermelon, water

New:  I made a “Health Binder” today.  It is seperated by binder dividers. The tabs go as follows: Cardio, Abs, Upper Boday, Lower Body, Fuel for the mind body and soul, Athletic Equipment and Clothes and Events (marathons, triathlons, challenges, etcetera), Tips.  In here I cut out all those things I marked down in health mags and recipes and such and put them in their respective sections.  It’s like my own personal health mag.  It’s great(:  {I’ll post a picture of mine in the future}
